To Pay For A
Pre-Ordered Bear When It Arrives:
The process for finding and paying for
a Pre-Ordered bear varies depending on two factors - whether the bear is fully
reserved and whether or not you have made any pre-order deposits. When we let
you know that your bear has arrived, we’ll also let you know which of the
following instructions to follow.
No Pre-Order Deposits Paid:
1. If we have advised you that your bear is in our general listings, use the Search bar to find the bear (see How To Find A Specific Bear page for full instructions). Add the bear to your cart. If you have been advised by us that an Add-On Shipping Charge applies, go to step 5. Otherwise, proceed to step 7.
2. If we have advised you that a Confirmed Pre-Order listing has been created, look in the left side panel and click on “Customer
Specific Orders” (it’s the 7th category listed) which will take you
to the main Customer Specific Orders page.
3. Click on either the little red square that says
“Pre-Orders". A new page will open where you’ll find a number of bears listed.
4. Look for the item titled “Name of Bear (For Confirmed Pre-Orders Only)”. Click on it to open the bear’s listing page.
Review the details to make sure it is the correct listing and assuming it is,
click on “Add To Cart”.
5. If you have been advised that you need to pay an Add-On Shipping Charge, go back to the main Customer Specific Orders page and click on the little red square that says "Shipping Charge".
6. When that page opens, scroll down the page until you find either "$___ (whatever amount we have told you needs to be paid) - Add-On Shipping Charge" or "Your Name - Add-On Shipping Charge" (we'll let you know which one) and click on "Add To Cart".
7. Look for the shopping cart icon at the top of the page, which will have a number beside it corresponding to the number of items in your cart. Click on that to open up your shopping cart.
8. If everything looks okay, proceed through check-out, using either a credit card or PayPal.
$25 Non-Refundable Deposit Paid But No Other Advance Payments:
1. Look in the left side panel and click on “Customer Specific Orders” (it’s the 7th category listed) which will take you to the main Customer Specific Orders page
2. Click on the little red square that says “Customer Specific Orders” which will open up a secondary Customer Specific Orders page where you’ll find a number of bears listed.
3. Look for the item titled “Name of Bear (For Your Name)”. Click on it to open the bear’s listing page. Review the details to make sure it is the correct listing (note that the listed price is the bear’s regular adoption fee less $25 to account for the amount pre-paid). Assuming it is the correct listing, click on “Add To Cart”.
4. If you have been advised that you need to pay an Add-On Shipping Charge, go back to the main Customer Specific Orders page and click on the little red square that says "Shipping Charge".
5. When that page opens, scroll down the page until you find either "$___ (whatever amount we have told you needs to be paid) - Add-On Shipping Charge" or "Your Name - Add-On Shipping Charge" (we'll let you know which one) and click on "Add To Cart".
